b - Mai tells him dinner plans may need to be postponed
c - Andi accommodates, Mai asks if they can meet after work
d - Andi and Mai meet at a quiet bar for happy hour
e - Mai tells Andi she's pregnant
f  - Andi asks what she's gonna do, Mai says she's thinking of an abortion but isn't sure
g - Mai leaves half her drink and says she'll call him later

a - Mai calls Andi while he's at BnFnH
b - Mai says she's in love with Andi and would like to have his child
c - Andi expresses hesitation, Mai immediately changes her mind
d - Andi mentions how they're just friends with benefits
e - Mai argues back that she thought they were more than just "friends"
f  - Andi is calm and steady in his rebuttal, how do you know when you're more than just friends
g - Mai is furious and hangs up
h - Andi returns to work, only slightly bothered
i  - Mai leaves an angry, hastily written note on Andi's door, "Don't bring Mai/Me anymore flowers!" - Andi doesn't know if it's Mai or Me.  Did Mari find out about Mai or did Mai "break things off"?

b - Andi leaves a voicemail for Mai asking her to call him
c - Mai never replies

a - Andi at BnFnH and Tits, Ass & Muffins talking to Chad
b - Mari at work in a business meeting, arguing for the closure of a logging mill
c - Mari winning the argument over her peers, then making plans to go to the small town to tell them in person
d - Mari happily going to BnFnH to visit Andi
e - Mari tells Andi about the mill closure, Andi arguing on the mill's behalf
f  - Mari is hurt that Andi doesn't support her, but it makes sense coming from him

a - Andi invites Mari to go camping before the Monday meeting
b - Mari hesitates (she'll need to prepare) but eventually agrees
c - Mari walks herself home before BnFnH closes

a - Mari arrives at Andi's house with a borrowed truck
b - Andi is almost done "over"packing for the weekend
c - Mari has packed very little
d - Mari hasn't a clue how to get to where they're going
e - Andi takes the lead and guides her through the city and up the highway
f  - A&M have political and sociological discussions in the truck

a - Andi mentions the idea of hitch-hikers, Mari is curious
b - Andi suggests they pick up a hitch-hiker, Mari opposes the idea
c - At a gas station Andi meets some dude (STR) in the bathroom
d - A&M get a bite to eat, they discuss hitch-hikers and STR
e - A&M start to drive out of town and Andi sees STR on the side of the road, hitching
f  - Andi asks Mari to pull over to pick him up, she reluctantly agrees
g - A&M have a great discussion with STR about life, his dreams, and his opportunities
h - A&M drop STR off on the side of the highway as they leave for a turn-off

a - As they drop off STR they tell him to contact them later
b - STR sees this as his way out and gladly agrees to it

a - A&M arrive at a campground, the place is bustling
b - A&M set up the Truck-bed Tent, prepare a snack and then go for a hike
c - A&M return to their campsite after hiking, the campground is empty
d - A&M discuss the circumstances as they prepare dinner
e - A&M finish dinner and clean up

a - Andi stokes up the fire
b - Mari pulls out a bottle of whiskey
c - Andi pulls out a bottle of cola
d - A&M drink and play guitar
e - Mari moves in close to Andi
f  - Andi makes a move to kiss Mari, she accepts it

16
a - A&M hear some branches breaking
b - A strange fellow approaches the campfire with a jolly hello
c - A&M move away from each other a little bit, then extend a hello
d - Andi takes the lead in getting to know the stranger, he's a logger from a nearby town
e - Mari doesn't mention that she's going to close a nearby mill
f  - The stranger is nice, but a little too "rural" for A&M
g - A&M wish him a goodnight and try to get him to leave
h - The stranger finally gets the hint and disappears back on the path he came
i  - A&M drink a small drink each and then decide to head to bed
j  - Mari takes a chance and cuddles close to Andi
k - Andi reciprocates and they have warm, cuddly sex

17
a - A&M pack up their things in the truck and prepare for another day of driving
b - Andi drives thsi time
c - Mari mentions picking up another hitch-hiker, Andi isn't sure it's a good idea
d - Mari notices Andi's hesitation but uncharacteristically she let's it go
e - Andi starts to discuss the benefits of closing the logging mill, Mari suggests maybe it should stay open
f  - A&M seem awkward toward each other so they drive in silence up a beautiful stretch of road

18
a - Mari has taken the map and begun navigating Andi toward the small logging town she will be speaking at the next day
b - Andi sees a motel and half-heartedly suggests they stay there
c - Mari confidently agrees to it (there are other more expensive looking places nearby)
d - Mari goes into the office and pays for a room

19
a - A&M enter the motel room and find stained sheets, holes in the wall, a refrigerator without an electrical outlet anywhere nearby, a shower curtain with a strange tear in it, and mis-matching towels
b - Andi looks to Mari and she says it will work just fine
c - Andi is a bit confused with Mari's newfound flexibility and asks her about it
d - Mari doesn't realize it at first, then doesn't understand why it's a big deal
e - Andi has no reason so he just settles in and makes the best of the situation
f  - Mari plugs away at her laptop preparing for her presentation
g - Andi mills about the bathroom, just kind of staring at the mirror
h - Andi starts to look into the mirror deeper as we hear him thinking/talking to himself
i  - Andi doesn't know if he has been thinking or saying things so he's a little cautious as he approaches Mari
j  - Mari looks up from her laptop and sees Andi approaching in a strange way, she questions him
k - Andi looks confused
l  - Andi decides to go for a walk, he hears a knock at the door, says he'll answer it, finds no one, Mari laughs at him (she hears no knock and thinks Andi is just goofing around being Andi)
m - Andi goes out of the motel room and explores nearby areas, he's just kind of wandering in a haze
n - Andi begins discussing some of the world's bigger issues, trying to solve them and coming up empty - he's logically ruling out everything from world peace to environmental successes and shanty towns

20
a - Finally Andi returns to the motel room and takes a shower
b - Mari walks in on him and tells him she's changes her opinion about the mill, it will stay open
c - Andi questions her on this
d - Mari is confident that the mill is a hub of the small town and the small town isn't just a number, there are people like STR who need opportunities, and people like the logger they met at the campground who need a place - the city isn't for everyone, and closing a mill to save some money for a big city-run corporation isn't the best thing for everyone
e - Andi simply advises her to do the right thing

21
a - Mari walks out after the business meeting with the logging company management
b - Mari mentions that they'll need to talk to the tech guy about fixing the speaker phone issues

22
a - Andi picks up Mari from the mill office
b - Mari asks why he didn't just wait at the motel for her, Andi thought he was being nice by picking her up
c - Mari let's it go and the two of them move on
d - Andi drives all the way back to the city
e - A&M have casual conversation but something just isn't right, Andi feels like things are more serious than they should be, Mari thinks Andi is acting strange
f  - A&M go to Andi's house first and have sex
g - Mari then drives home, excusing herself so she can get to work clean and on-time the next day

23
a - Mari returns to work a new woman, reinvigorated, refreshed, reinvented as a woman who is more carefree, liberal and concerned about more than the bottom line
b - Mari's peers wonder what happened over the weekend, she doesn't tell them about she and Andi hooking up, only about the eye-opening experience of traveling, camping, and talking to the small town folk
c - Andi returns to Tits, Ass and Muffins to talk to Chad
d - Chad calls Andi out telling him he's not the confident, carefree, free man he was when he left on Friday
e - Andi tells him he and Mari hooked up
f  - Chad keeps things simple and subtle and just says "Bitches and Ho's, girls are trouble"
g - Andi agrees but says he really likes Mari, now it seems everything is just wierd between them
h - Andi leaves for BnFnH

24
a - Andi finds an email/voicemail from STR at BnFnH
b - Andi checks his schedule of live performances, calls a couple people, then calls STR to tell him he could come perform two twice at BnFnH, once as an opener, and once as a headliner if things go well the first time
c - STR makes plans to come into the city, it looks like he's packing to leave home for good

25
a - A&M are at BnFnH just hanging out, things are good, conversation easy
b - STR walks in and looks around for someone who works there
c - Andi walks up as one of his employees is talking to STR
d - STR shakes his hand with confidence and appreciation
e - Andi invites STR to the booth A&M were sitting in
f  - The three of them catch up and discuss some logistics, STR will perform tonight, then stay at Mari's house because she has a spare room, then they will meet for lunch tomorrow
g - STR performs at BnFnH to an appreciative crowd
h - A&M and STR hang out for awhile, then Mari decides to go home - Andi has to stay late and clean up so STR goes with Mari
i  - Mari and STR hang out talking for a long time - STR sounds like the dreamer Andi used to sound like, Mari is sucked in by it
j  - STR makes a move to kiss Mari, she accepts it
k - STR makes a move to remove Mari's bra, she accepts it
l  - Mari starts to remove STR's belt, then they have sex

26
a - Mari and STR don't talk about the sex the next morning, they pretend it never happened
b - Mari and STR meet up with Andi for lunch
c - Andi tells STR he had received great feedback for his set the night before, STR is grateful and can't wait to perform again that night
d - Andi tells STR that Saturday night's crowd may not be as easy to woo as STR will be performing after a local favorite
e - STR is confident and thinks it will all be just fine
f  - Mari tells Andi that STR reminds her of him, Andi only smiles
g - A&M leave together to go spend the afternoon hanging out, STR leaves to go explore the city alone (by choice)
h - A&M are hanging out and Andi asks how things went the night before
i  - Mari is casual and just says it was a great night, she tells Andi that STR talked into the night about his dreams for the world
j  - Andi shows a little concern that something may have happened, or that she may be attracted to him
k - Mari tells him he's crazy and they proceed to start goofing around, leading to great afternoon sex

27
a - A&M are hanging out at BnFnH waiting for STR to perform, Andi notices Mai across the room
b - Mari doesn't know what Mai looks like, she just sees Andi go over to talk to another customer (Mai)
c - Mari watches as Mai looks disgruntled with Andi and leaves
d - When Andi returns Mari asks him who that was
e - Andi tells Mari that it was Mai and he needs to bring Mai flowers
f  - Mari reacts with concern but Andi just says that he said something stupid and would like to make amends with Mai - there is nothing going on between them, he hasn't even seen her in ages
g - Mari accepts this as something the old Andi would have done, trying to make the world a better place by having no enemies
h - STR performs and is received well again
i  - STR has accommodation for Saturday night at the local hostel, he doesn't want to impose and he would love to make some more connections at the hostel

28
a - Andi is at BnFnH talking to regulars about world issues
b - Mari is coming back to the office from a lunch break, she looks troubled
c - Mari asks her boss if it would be OK if she left early, the boss agrees and notices Mari isn't well
d - Mari packs her office bag and heads to BnFnH
e - As she passes Tits, Ass & Muffins she sees Chad, he says something laid back to her, she tells him it's not a good time, Chad looks confused and says something to himself to the effect of "When is it not a good time for being happy"
f  - Mari storms into BnFnH to a mid-afternoon empty room, Andi is behind the bar
g - Mari tells Andi she needs to talk to him
h - Andi looks concerned as Mari looks like she's in terrible shape
i  - Andi locks the front door, tapes a note to the door, then A&M take a booth and close the curtain
j  - Mari tells Andi she's pregnant
k - Andi isn't sure what to say but manages to say something about "That's great"
l  - Mari isn't in the mood to be happy, she wants an abortion

29
a - Andi doesn't understand why Mari would want an abortion
b - A&M talk things over, Andi argues they have been dating long enough and he would like to raise the child with Mari, Mari argues that they're not perfect for each other - they were great as friends but things just haven't been right for them as dating partners
c - Andi looks like he's seen a ghost, he's quite moved by Mari's feelings about him
d - Mari tries to explain that she's just not ready to be a mother, it's her body and she needs to have the choice to do with it what she wants
e - Mari tells Andi she needs to think things over
f  - Mari kisses Andi goodbye and walks out the front door of BnFnH

30
a - Mari calls Andi later that day, they make plans to meet up at Andi's house
b - Andi asks what she's decided to do
c - Mari has decided to have an abortion
d - Andi says that he supports her if that's what she feels is the right thing to do
e - Mari says it's the right thing to do but doesn't fully explain why, she still loves him and wants to date him, but she isn't ready for forever yet
f  - Andi understands but is noticably bothered
g - A&M spend the night spooning, comforting each other

31
a - Mari is on the phone with STR, she tells him she's pregnant
b - STR says in his ever-optimistic, carefree way "What can I do to help?"
c - Mari appreciates his concern but she tells him she doesn't know if it was his or Andi's baby so she's going to have an abortion
d - STR is concerned for her health and safety but says he supports her decision
e - Mari thanks him and says she wishes Andi would have been as supportive
f  - STR reminds Mari that it's easier for him as he's just an outsider who had a fling, Andi really loves her and has more to think about
g - Mari shows a moment of understanding and thanks STR for being a good friend
h - STR is nothing but appreciation for everything she and Andi have done for him

32
a - Mari walks out of the abortion clinic and looks relieved
b - There's a message from Andi asking her to meet him for a pasta dinner at his house
c - A&M meet and Andi has flowers for her
d - Mari accepts them and they start to make amends of their relationship - they talk about where things went wrong, what's going on now, how they want things to be
e - Mari tells him she had the abortion
f  - Andi tells Mari it is OK but that it just hurts him for personal reasons

33
a - Mari inquires as to why Andi is so bothered by the abortion
b - Andi proceeds to tell Mari that he had convinced Mai to get an abortion, that he didn't take her feelings into consideration, she did it despite really wanting to raise the child on her own - He had wanted life to be easy and he though this would keep it that way
c - Then he felt so guilty about it that it affected his whole outlook on life, he was no longer carefree and dreaming of changing the world, he had already changed the world by taking away the opportunity for that child to be born
d - Now Mari was pregnant and he didn't want that guilty feeling ever again
e - Andi tells Mari how much he loves her and that he would do anything to have her in his life, even if it meant going back to just being friends
e - Andi goes on to tell Mari that STR reminds him a lot of himself, and that STR was raised by a single mother, and that every time he sees STR he just can't help but think that maybe Mai's aborted child could turn out as well as him
f  - Mari has been patient and caring throughout Andi's monologue, now she has something to tell Andi - "Andi, I really needed to have this abortion because I didn't know whose child it was.  I was so taken in by how much he was like the old you that I just wanted to have the old you back for a night."
g - Andi is startled, shocked, terrified as he says, "Who?"
h - Mari mumbles the name "STR"
i  - Andi tips over the pot of spaghetti sauce off of the stove top
j  - He's fumbling around in a daze like he doesn't know reality from unreality
k - Andi walks to the sink with a towel and starts to clean up the sauce
l  - He isn't done cleaning when he walks to the bathroom to clean himself up
m - He has his hands in the sink under running water, we can't see his face until he finally looks up in to the mirror with the most horrified look on his face
n - As the screen fades to black we can hear Mari in the background telling him she loves him and that it will be OK
